Why coatings fail without maintenance
Most coating failures come down to how the car is washed afterwards. A coating that is never maintained clogs with contaminants and eventually stops working. That's why our warranty works the way it does: if the coating fails anywhere, we redo that area, as long as the car has had correct, regular maintenance. It isn't a trick; it's how coatings work.
The yearly inspection and acid wash
Once a year we inspect the coating and do an acid wash that pulls embedded mineral and environmental contaminants out of the paint and restores the coating's slickness and beading.

How to wash a coated car yourself
- Wash in shade, early or late in the day, never in midday sun.
- Rinse the grit off before touching the paint.
- Use a pH-neutral shampoo and two buckets; no dishwashing liquid or harsh degreasers.
- Dry with a clean microfibre towel or blower so tank or bore water doesn't leave mineral spots.
